The range of price is higher than anywhere else with a breakfast not included and which does not look good at all.
Maybe it’s gonna sound normal for some but for me it’s the first time (in a hostel I mean) I’ve been given my sheets at the desk to make my bed
Worst was that they let people drink and eat into rooms and in mine the buddy from the desk showed me mine whereas there was a drunk girl with garbages and empty beers spread everywhere on the floor, he didn’t care at all!
Bathrooms were not clean either...
So for all of those, I would say just go somewhere else, there are much much better options and cheaper!

The cheapest dorm room i chose is 5 double bed for 10 people without breakfast. However, without breakfast and grab food outside would actually be a good idea. The common area seems cozy and specious. The location is close to downtown, just few mins walking distance.

My friend and I stayed in a double room with private bathroom. The room was alright, although it smelled a little like mold, I guess it is because of the humidity of the city. The breakfast was awful, an friendly advise, do not pay for it, go out and grab your own. The location was good for people who want to visit the historical center of the city, it was quite far from the newest part of Asunción. I guess you could say it was worth the money, since the room was very cheap.

I chose a double room in this hostel. My shower was hot and powerful enough. The bed was comfortable and the room was small (but big enough not to be cramped). I had a fridge and breakfast was included in the price. The breakfast was very basic but there was kitchen where you could cook and supplement it. The kitchen has a long table where you can exchange travel stories with other guests so it is very friendly. It was off season and cold so there was no reason to clean the swimming pool but they did. The hostel also has a community sitting room to watch TV and a pool table. The couches are a bit dated and sag but the overall aspect of the hostel is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and speak good English, Portuguese, some French and Spanish. There is an outside area which is large and has barbecue facilities, swimming pool and sunbeds which in June (winter for Asuncion) we did not need. The location of this hostel is excellent. I would definitely go back.
